I’ve officially started the trek to Ulaan Bataar, Mongolia! We will travel for a good 20 hours, taking off out of LAX 1:40am with a 3 hour layover in Beijing, China. I couldn’t have picked a better group of people to go with either! We have just spent the last 9 months growing close as friends as we learned more about God and who he is/growing closer to him. We have experienced incredible healing and growth in our lives and this month long trip in Mongolia will be the last leg of our School of Transformation journey, the discipleship training school through my church, All Peoples Church.
Needless to say, I have tons of butterflies. This will be the first time I have spent a month outside of the country on a mission trip. Also, my first time in Asia. Ulaan Bataar is the Capitol city of Mongolia, where they are very open to Western culture and should receive us warmly. I’m expecting to have lots of people want to practice English and be friends. Our Antioch church movement has a church plant we will be helping, so I am excited to meet these wonderful people!
How you can pray: traveling mercies, unity in my team, and that the Mongolians would be open to Jesus!
Stay tuned for more photos and thoughts along my month long adventure with Jesus!
God bless you, Bri. Opportunity of a life time! We will often remember you in our prayers. Lane/Lois Zachary
